(jp) = On Friday, a group of drag queens and activists arrived at Fayetteville Public Library in Arkansas wearing black and white clothing to protest actor and author Kirk Cameron’s family and children’s story time event. The drag queens reportedly obstructed some family and children’s view and distracted from the reading and speaking. Cameron, a conservative, Christian actor, has been visiting public libraries across the country to share messages about faith, family, and country by reading children’s books and singing patriotic songs. Some of his visits have been met with pushback from libraries and protestors.
