(jp) = Texas mother Laura Maria Gruber has criticized KIPP Academy after her daughter was forced to act as a flirtatious prostitute in a classroom game called “Bear Fucker Hunter”. Gruber said the exercise was part of a social and emotional learning class and did not seem to have any clear purpose, and that her daughter refused to take part in the activity. Gruber filed a complaint with school administrators regarding what she perceived as the sexualisation of the children through the game, which had an undisclosed aim, and claims that her daughter had been upset by it. Following Gruber’s complaint, KIPP apologized and acknowledged the game did not meet its standards.
