(jp) = Rick Pitino, the head coach of Iona Gaels, expressed his desire to die on the court where he has spent most of his life coaching. Pitino, who has led teams to 54 wins in the NCAA Tournament, shared his thoughts with The Post and emphasized that he was still as passionate about the sport now, aged 70, as he was when he was 30. Pitino’s team, Iona Gaels, has lost all 14 of its NCAA Tournament games, but they are on a 14-game winning streak after losing to Sienna. The team will face UConn in the West Region March Madness on Friday.
