Discovery, publicly showed support for CNN CEO Chris Licht during a town hall meeting this week, amid rumors of Licht being fired due to low ratings and negative press caused by anchor Don Lemon’s controversial comments. Despite speculations that Licht may be let go in the coming months, unnamed sources claim the rumors are “bogus” and were started by supporters of former CNN boss Jeff Zucker, who was ousted in 2022 for not disclosing an affair with colleague Alison Goralnik.
