(jp) = Joana Sanz’s public declaration of ending her relationship with defender Dani Alves has left him bewildered and without contact during his imprisonment due to allegations of sexual assault. According to Diario Sport, since the announcement, Alves has been “completely shattered” and has spent the past few days in isolation. Sanz revealed in a handwritten letter posted on Instagram on March 15 that ending the eight-year relationship was due to Alves not being the person she thought he was. Alves is facing one to two years in prison for the allegations of sexual assault.
